The 2026 season marks a major turning point in Andrea Galli’s racing career. He made his debut in the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, joining Ebimotors team and racing in Michelin Cup category reserved for drivers over 35.
For the driver from Valtellina, this marks his entry into one of the most competitive and prestigious single-brand championships, behind the wheel of the No. 75 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) fielded by Ebimotors, a historic team of Porsche racing.
After the positive experiences gained in previous seasons, including the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse, GT Cup Europe, and GT3isti Challenge, Galli has chosen to raise the bar even further by accepting the challenge of Carrera Cup Italia, a championship that represents one of the main launching series for drivers competing in GT racing.
His Michelin Cup debut took place on the Imola circuit, where Andrea began his development journey competing against some of the most experienced drivers in the category.
After the season opener, Galli surprised at the Misano Adriatico weekend. On the Romagna track, the Ebimotors driver gets an excellent second-place qualifying finish in the Michelin Cup, confirming his ever-growing competitiveness. These excellent performances continued in Race 2, where Andrea secured his first podium in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia thanks to a splendid third-place finish in his class, a result that demonstrates his rapid adaptation to the championship and the value of the work done with his team.
The following round at Monza proved to be a particularly challenging weekend, marked by several difficulties that limited his potential on the final result. Despite this, the weekend in Monza represented an important opportunity for Andrea Galli to grow, as he continued to gain experience in a highly competitive category, gathering valuable insights for the rest of the season. The work done with Ebimotors and the progress shown on the track confirm a constantly evolving path, with the goal of consolidating his position among the Michelin Cup protagonists in the upcoming events.
